Consultancy consists of advice regarding a professional approach to English language-related issues in your organisation. Issues can range from standardising internal terminology and correct usage to recommendations regarding an organisation’s English language training policy for staff.

For example, as part of your university’s efforts to step-up internationalisation, management believes that intercultural competency needs to be improved, including English language skills. As a consultant, I would make an analysis of your company’s goals, measure the current language levels of staff and recommend a course of action for the short and mid-term (including who requires language training, content and focus, options in terms of language institutes, etc.).
